How many sections are on the PAT?
There are two sections on the PAT. The PAT is made up of 100 marks. The PAT lasts 2 hours and is sat under timed conditions.
How many questions are on the PAT?
Section 1 of the PAT is made up of 12 multiple choice questions, with each question worth 2 marks.
Section 2 of the PAT consists of a number of longer-form questions, with each question worth up to 10 marks each.
Are calculators allowed for the PAT?
Non graphical calculators may be used but no tables or lists of formulae are allowed. Examples of calculators which meet the specifications of the PAT are: Casio fx83GTX and fx85GTX, Sharp ELW531B, Aurora AX-595TV
